Second Chance Cocker Rescue Adoption Application

Adoption Process: Our adoption process includes an adoption application, a phone interview, an adoption fee and a home visit. We welcome out of area adoptions, but ask that you meet the dog before the adoption is final. All dogs have been checked by a vet, spayed or neutered, microchipped and are current on their Rabies and Distemper/Parvo vaccines. Placerville and Romoland dogs are tested for heartworms.

If you do not see the right dog for you then we can put you on our wait list. Fill out an application and we will notify you when a dog comes in that might be a good match for your household.

Adoption Fees:
$275 dogs 2 years and under
$250 dogs 3-8 years
$200 dogs 9 years and over
