Emma

Emma is a sweet young lady. She walks like a lady on a leash and knows some basic obedience. Being petted and loved are her favorite things to do. She is a bit over weight but on a diet and will be trim again soon.

Emma is 6 years old and gets along with cats and other dogs but she is most definitely a Queen Bee girl. Emma would prefer an adult only home.

Emma is currently in foster in Romoland, south of Riverside.

Seth

Seth is a sweet gentle soul. He loves his people and likes nothing better than to just hang out and be with you. He is well mannered. Seth likes to play fetch and chew on his bone. He also enjoys hiding his bones and does an excellent job hiding them from his foster brother, Bentley. Seth rarely barks. He he is happy just sitting on your lap and cuddling.

Seth is 10 yrs old and great with other dogs, cats and kids.

Monkey

Monkey is the perfect dog for an active family. She LOVES kids and she loves to go, go, go. She is as sweet and happy as they come. She always has a big smile on her face. She loves to play fetch and go for walks.

Monkey is about 2 years old and has not met a dog, cat or person she didn't love. She needs some basic obdience training but she is as smart as whip and will learn quickly.

Caesar is a happy boy who loves to be around people. He still has a long tail and he proudly wags it all the time! Caesar is very affectionate and extremely sweet and loves to be petted and hang out with his human pals. He also likes other dogs, cats and has been around children. He has very good housemanners and is housetrained. Sadly, Caesar's family lost their home and they have to move into an apartment and could not take him along. Caesar is 9 years old, neutered, and is up-to-date on his vaccinations. He is a very mellow, nice dog and he would love to be your best friend! Luigi

Luigi is a sweet, well-mannered boy who would love to come home with you! He is well-behaved, affectionate and loyal, likes other dogs and cats, enjoys car rides, taking walks and cuddling. He also knows some basic commands and is housebroken. Luigi would do best with another dog pal and someone that is home most of the time. He is possessive over toys, so an all adult home would be best for him. Luigi was a stray at the Auburn shelter and a good samaritan rescued him and is fostering him. Lady and Tramp

Onyx

Onyx is a beautiful 4 year-old male that needs to be find a home because his owners can no longer care for him. Here are some of the owner's information about Onyx: He's house trained (for the most part although he's had a couple of accidents). He's kennel trained. He LIVES for his squeaky tennis ball, but if you don't want to play anymore, he just goes and lies down on the fireplace (I suspect he likes the cold brick). He only barks if someone comes to the door but calms down pretty quickly once he knows the person He's up to date with all his shots and has no major health concerns (because of long ears, Cocker Spaniels need to have the ears flushed weekly so they don't get a yeast infection). He plays well with other dogs. I've only seen him bark at one dog: a huge German Shepherd, Onyx was on a leash at the time, so I pulled back on him and after that he was calm. Dooley

Meet Dooley - he is a "Sanctuary Dog" and is looking for a sanctuary home. What is a sanctuary dog? A sanctuary dog is an older dog that we are looking for a home to spend the rest of their life in. Our rescue group will pay all medical expenses, all you have to do is give the dog a loving home, food, warm bed. Being a sanctuary family or foster family is an extremely rewarding thing to do! Dooley is 11.5 years old and pretty spunky for his age! He has lost most of his sight, but not his smell! He gets along just great once he knows his surroundings. He gets along great with other dogs, is gentle and loving. He just does not like to be groomed :-) Other than that, he's a good ol' boy. Lady and Luke

Lady and Luke are two cockers that ended up at the shelter and were hours from being euthanized because of some special needs. They are extremely sweet, affectionate, happy, well-behaved, housetrained, like other dogs and enjoy taking car rides. Lady is a little smaller than Luke [aka "Gentleman" - the name he came into the shelter with]. They both have beautiful long eyelashes and a beautiful coat. Luke has a little allergies going on with his skin, but we think after putting him on a good quality food, that his skin will be just fine.
